As the Costa de Almeria becomes more popular, more airlines have begun to serve the area. The closest airport 50 minutes from Mojacar is Almeria International Airport, still relatively small compared to many Spanish Airports, the service is excellent, baggage arrives through swiftly, parking is close by and Car Hire companies are all on site making arrivals and departures a pleasurable experience!
Again small and friendly with all facilities on hand, Murcia Airport has recently been conveniently connected to the Mojacar area by a new motorway link reducing the driving time to 1 hour 30 minutes.
Another option is to fly to Alicante airport just under 2 hours from Mojacar, with most major scheduled and charter airlines flying from all UK and Ireland airports, including: British Airways, BMI, Thomsonfly and Iberia in addition to all the airlines mentioned above.
