My sister and I have visited southeastern Spain for over 40 years.  My father's family is from the town of Sorbas.  We often stayed in Mojacar and dreamed of the day of owning a home in my father's native land.  We explored the housing market and found Alex Lawson to be very informative on the current market and the process of foreign ownership.  He kept in touch with us after we returned home to the US and a few months later helped us close on a fantastic property. We are sp grateful to him for making this a pleasant experience.  We look forward to spending retirement years in Spain with our extended family in Sorbas and our family and friends that will visit form the United States.

Good Morning Alex,

I wanted to write to thank you for all your efforts in relation to my late parents property sale. As you know , the property had over the years, been with a fair few agents, what a relief it was when Mum found you. For so very many reasons it was never going to be a quick sale and from the off you were open , honest and realistic. Sadly we lost Mum all too soon but your support, advice and knowledge of your trade was a massive help and comfort...I had an ally. The family dynamics that were now before you made selling even more of a challenge, but you handled everything with tact and skill. Even when we were both "out voted" on price etc...... At last, all your advertising and advice has paid off and the house is gone, I will miss your advice and our email chats, I truly could not have got through all this without them.

"Although I had been to Mojacar on a number of occasions I had no idea what was required when purchasing property in Spain and more importantly price ranges and locations in the resort. I originally met with Alex on a visit in May and he couldn't have been more helpful in explaining the process and costs for purchase. He also arranged to take me to view a number of properties even though at that stage I hadn't decided if a Spanish home was really for me. Before the families return In August a quick email to New Wave with our specific requirements and available budget and Alex had arranged for 6 wonderful properties for us to view. Having found the home of our dreams he worked very closely with us to make it happen. The care and support he provided was superb, from introducing us to a Lawyer, and helping to open both a currency and bank account.
